Halloween Décor: The Good, The Bad and The Ghastly

Halloween is not known as the most tasteful of holidays. With its eerie decorations, sometimes crude decorations, there's a fine line between acceptable sinister and just downright demonic. Here's a primer on the good, the bad and the truly ghastly in Halloween decorations. Take a cue for the boo and ease up on blood, the gore and the gag décor! You can still have attitude, but leave the cloying kitsch for the kids.

i LOVE HALLOWEEN,AND HERE IN mISSOURI,WE ALL DECORATE,IT'S FUN.tHERE ARE SOME REALLY COOL STUFF ON THE PART MARKED BAD--IS BAD GOOD OR WHAT,LOL,i LIKE IT ALL.

I totally disagree with you, I love Holloveen, living here in Rhode Island I go to Salem Mass every year, and as old as I am I still dress up, it's the one time of year a person can really let themselves go and feel like a kid again.

As a former Cardiovascular Technician, I can't tell you how happy it makes the patients when they see the staff all dressed up and the holloween decorations everywhere. For the patients who can have sugar, they love getting treats from the staff. It's great to bring so much joy to others while having a great time yourself. I think you need to lighten up enjoy this terrific holiday appropriate for every age.

Guess you don't like Christmas decorations either

i think the haunted tree stump candy stand is actually pretty cool... haha

it truly is such a fine line...
